Thanks to technological advancements, it is now possible to achieve similar effectiveness and safety to traditional methods with a system of invisible aligners. These devices consist of clear, removable trays for continuous use, allowing for the gradual correction of certain dental misalignments.

HOW ARE THEY DESIGNED?

Invisible aligners are designed using 3D computer technology, individually crafted and personalized to each patient’s needs. The Invisalign® system, an example of this technology used by the Implantology Institute®, allows for an almost imperceptible and highly comfortable treatment.

With the help of an intraoral scanner, digital records of the patient’s teeth can be made quickly and comfortably. Additionally, thanks to new technologies, it is also possible to obtain a preview of the final treatment results.

ADVANTAGES OF INVISIBLE ALIGNERS

Besides providing greater aesthetics due to their invisibility, these aligners:

  • Require fewer consultations;
  • Facilitate oral hygiene;
  • Allow the patient to see a simulation of the final results achieved with the treatment;
  • Enable the maintenance of different routines;
  • Do not require emergency consultations;
  • The treatment is faster due to the predictability of the results

Treatment steps

  • 1

    The first visit

    We make a digital and photographic record of your teeth and show you a preview of the final result after treatment.

  • 2

    Digital planning

    With the latest software, the dentist will plan the necessary tooth movements.

  • 3

    Aligners

    Treatment begins with the delivery of the first aligner, which is worn for an average of 22 hours a day for seven days.

  • 4

    Control consultations

    We monitor the progress of your treatment to achieve the best possible result through consultations.

  • 5

    The end of treatment

    By wearing a retainer at night, you’ll be able to keep the smile you’ve achieved at the end of this treatment.
