Teeth Whitening
Teeth whitening allows for a quick improvement in the color of teeth by removing stains. It is a non-invasive, safe treatment that does not damage the tooth enamel. Before starting a whitening treatment, we always recommend our patients undergo an oral hygiene consultation.
WHAT TYPES OF WHITENING ARE AVAILABLE?
At the Implantology Institute®, we offer at-home whitening. This method is highly appreciated by patients for the comfort it provides.
At-home (ambulatory)
- A custom tray is used, tailored to the patient’s mouth, in which the whitening agent is placed for several hours;
- It takes about 15 days to achieve the desired result;
- A process that is usually easier for the patient;
- A treatment always monitored by the Dentist or Hygienist to ensure the desired result;
- Suitable for patients with tooth sensitivity.
HOW TO APPLY THE WHITENING AGENT TO THE TRAY?
The durability of teeth whitening will always depend on the patient’s exposure to risk factors that can lead to staining. Examples include tobacco, coffee, tea, or red wine.
More than just an aesthetic treatment, teeth whitening also influences the quality of life of all patients by bringing a more confident smile to everyone.
